17th Square Golf Tournament 2018 commenced amid much exaltation among golf enthusiasts of the nation at Kurmitola Golf Club (KGC) in the capital on Friday.  Square Pharmaceuticals Ltd Managing Director Tapan Chowdhury, inaugurated a 3-day long meet. The tee-off was witnessed among others by KGC Tournament Committee Chairman Brigadier General Abidur Reza Khan (Retd), KGC Chief Executive Officer Brigadier General Mohd Obaidul Haque (Retd), KGC Golf Operations General Manager Lieutenant Colonel Md Abdul Bari (Retd), members of the Square Group and high officials of Kurmitola Golf Club were also present at the inaugural ceremony. The event witnessed the final taking place on February 24. A total of 579 golfers played the tournament for 26 prizes including attractive Toyota Yaris for whole-in-one.  A closing ceremony followed by gala dinner was organized to hand over the prizes among the winners.
