The spectacular and unforgettable annual Meril Prothom Alo Awards once again awed the audience. The event took place at Bangabandhu International Conference Centre on 29th April, 2011.
The Meril Prothom Alo Awards is well-known and widely regarded as one of the most prestigious award shows of the nation. The purpose of the show, as always, was to award those nominees of Meril Prothom Alo Taroka Jarip who were voted winners by the people of Bangladesh.

Well-recognized figures like Zahid Hasan, Mostofa Sarwar Faruki, Matiur Rahman, Ferdous, Habib and many others along with new entrants to the entertainment industry attended the show.
