The ‘Meril Baby Adore Gora Bhobishshot 2011’ program initiated by Meril Baby, a brand of Square Toiletries Limited, concluded on Saturday, 2nd June 2012 with a memorable award ceremony. The gala function and award declaration took place at the Grand Ballroom in Radisson Blu Water Garden. The first and second winners of the program were awarded with education insurances worth Tk. 10 lac and Tk. 5 lac respectively.
The theme of ‘Meril Baby Adore Gora Bhobishshot 2011’ was what the adorable names mothers have for their children. Over a hundred and seventeen thousand mothers from all over the country sent SMS mentioning the names to participate in the program. Based on these submissions, the judges chose 100 lucky mothers to attend the gala round in Dhaka.
Mr. Malik Mohammed Sayeed, Head of Marketing, Square Toiletries Limited, the honorable judge of ‘Meril Baby Adore Gora Bhobishshot’ Mr. Mostofa Monowar, renowned psychologist Dr. Mehtab Khanam and Square Hospital’s leading Pediatrician Dr. Muhammad Taufique handed over the awards to the winners. It is notable that this was the 7th consecutive program held by Square Toiletries Limited.

The ‘Meril Baby Adore Gora Bhobishshot 2011’ award ceremony was packed with uniquely entertaining performances. There were kid’s dance & recitations. The Sisimpur group performed as well. Distinguish writer Anisul Haque shared his childhood memories and emphasized the importance of paying attention to children’s dreams. Vocal performances were given by popular artists Abida Sultana and Rafiqul Alam. The winner of the 1st prize (education insurance worth Tk. 10 lac) was Fahmida Binte Hasib from Daulatpur, Khulna and the winner of the 2nd prize (education insurance worth Tk. 5 lac) was Tabassum Sajia from Symoli, Dhaka.
