The first phase of the online campaign was launching a Facebook fan page for Jui. The page got an overwhelmingly positive response, with the number of fans reaching over 10,000 in the first week, and the number kept steadily increasing. Secondly, Jui launched an online contest on their fan page, inviting fans to answer two simple questions for the chance to win a special hair treatment session at Persona. This contest was promoted through Facebook banner ads, constant status updates on the fan page, app-generated wall posts from the contest participants and word-of-mouth. This contest was a hit with the fans as well. A large number of them participated and won the special hair treatment. All of the people who joined the fan page are still there, with the current number being over 25,000. All of these people will get constant updates on any new Jui promotions and offers.
