“CGS Square Fellowship Program” announced at University of Dhaka Seminar

To set an example worth emulating in the worldwide prevention of genocide, University of Dhaka Center for Genocide Studies (CGS) and the top business organization of the country Square Group has jointly arranged a 3-year long Fellowship Program: “CGS-Square Fellowship 2015-2017”. Also this year, fellowship is being given to new fellows

On 23 July, a seminar was held from 10 AM in the conference room of CGS, University of Dhaka. New fellows and researchers discussed the reasons for genocide, history of evolution of genocide and possible measures to prevent genocides. Barrister Sarah Hossain, Professor AmenaMohsin (IR Department) and other notable academics. The director of the Center for Genocide Studies, Professor Imtiaz Ahmed, was also present.

Worth mentioning, for the purpose of research and analysis of genocide and human rights violation crimes in many different countries, CGS had started its journey by offering a 3-month diploma course under the Social Science Department of the University of Dhaka.
